NYS 150 Hour Appraisal Program on Long Island, New York!\

Our 150 Hour Program includes All Books, Manuals & Exams- We are New York State's Largest Real Estate Appraisal School. This Program includes all 7 required courses and  7 NYS Approved and mandated exams. Attendance is mandatory and classes must be take sequentially. We were informed as of 2-1-08 that we were the only school approved on Long Island to offer the new appraisal licensing courses listed below. We are excited by the reduction in interest rate, which causes an increase in refinances; there is also an increase in pre-foreclosures and short sales in which an appraisal is required. Predictions are that appraisals will be an integral part of the real estate process, and these courses will meet your educational requirements in NYS to enter the field. No one can guarantee success, however, we are using certified, qualified instructors, college level books and manuals (included in each program) and comprehensive review materials for our students. Our students are number 1 and we expect to continue this educational commitment to the NYS community for many years to come.

Our Next 150 Hour Program starts June 2nd, 2008- Only 8 students needed to host the class!

Tuition: $ 1,595 Materials Included! This is our Newest Program in 2008!

How to I obtain appraisal experience?
Appraisal experience can be gained by aligning yourself with a professional, established appraiser as a Licensed Appraiser Assistant. Many appraisers work as an assistant while completing the required education. For real property appraisers, many states have formal trainee programs. NYS mandated 2000 and 2 years to meet the experience requirement to upgrade to Licensed from Licensed Assistant.

All individuals seeking to become a State Licensed, State Certified Residential or State Certified General appraiser must successfully pass an examination administered by the State of New York. There is no State Exam to become a Licensed Appraiser Assistant in NY State.
