Considering a New Career...but which one? Let's look at each field!

Let's discuss 5 Different Career Possibilities. They are as follows: REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL, REAL ESTATE SALES, HOME INSPECTION, MORTGAGE FINANCING\=

  1.  Real Estate Appraisal  requires a 90 hour educational commitment to enter the field. We have many links describing the field, but in short, you inspect a home, and using several different approaches determine it's value for a variety of purposes. These can include Financing, Mortgages, Estates, Divorce Actions, IRS Cases, Litigation, and the list goes on. Most entry level positions involve working at an appraisal firm, either full or part-time. You may, after 2 years minimum decide to go on your own and open your own appraisal firm. Many people, even after they gain the required experience still work within an appraisal corporate structure. This is not a commission type position. You receive payment for each appraisal, even if the loan does not close, or the sale does not occur. You are paid for your actual report.  Take me back to Careers Page
