Take NYS Approved Appraiser Continuing Education  before you renew your Appraiser License

Part of this regulation requires you to attend the 7 hour National USPAP Update course. USPAP is mandatory! No Exceptions! Questions?, call NY State at 518-474-4429. Due to limited seating, and advance book purchase requirements, no refunds are permitted once course is registered for. Attendance mandatory to receive credit for courses. Call to confirm dates, times and availability of each course you wish to attend. We require a minimum of 7 students to run each course. KEEP COPIES OF ALL CERTIFICATES YOU RECEIVE! All appraisers are subject to a continuing education  audit. If you do not have the required Appraiser Continuing Education, you are in violation of state guidelines.  If course is cancelled due to weather issues, we will call you at the # you provided.

    All Appraisers need 28 hours of Approved Continuing Education every 2 years including USPAP 7 Hour Update Class in NYS

    The courses below are NYS Approved and meet your requirements for the 28 hours Appraiser Continuing Education. You can take a variety of courses to meet your regulations. Failure to take the required Appraiser continuing education will subject you to fine and/or revocation/suspension of your license in New York State.     Fraud is present in many lending transactions and Appraisers must understand and deal with this growing problems in banking transactions.

    The Fraud Practices Class will discuss common fraud practices and how an appraiser can insulate themselves from entering into and participating in Fraud deals.

    3/18,19,20,21 ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM 3.5 days 8am-5pm

    Approved for 21 Hours Continuing Education Credit for Appraisers and  for Home Inspectors ……$ 495.00

    This 30+ hour course is approved for 21 hours of appraiser continuing education credit. It will give you the knowledge to perform an Energy and Environmental

    Inspection on residential homes throughout the NYS region. We include over $ 200 in Manuals/Disks/Handouts as part of this program. There is an optional exam

     and the ability to obtain the REA National Designation as part of this course.
