Our Refund Policy for the Entire Organization is very simple. It is not misleading. We observe all conditions and guidelines set forth by the State of New York, Dept. of State regarding publishing this refund and exchange policy as follows:

If you register and pay for a course and change your mind, you must send us a Certified Letter telling us of your withdrawal from the program you registered for. If you cancel at least 10 days prior to the start of class, you will receive a refund of the money you paid for the course, minus a fee of $ 50.00 per course you registered for. Example: 1 class = $ 50 cancellation fee; 2 courses = $ 100 cancellation fee, etc. (This offsets our costs of processing credit cards, preparing manuals for students, etc.) If you change your mind and cancel less than 10 days prior to the start of the course, you are only entitled to an in-house credit towards a future program. No refund will be permitted.

SPECIFIC COURSES That state "NO REFUNDS"- In the event the course you signed up for specifically stated NO REFUNDS, you will not be entitled to a refund. We will allow you an exchange to a future course, however you agreed to the NO REFUND policy when you signed up for the course and this agreement will be enforced. We are able to keep fees low based upon guarantees from students who sign up for these courses.

EXCHANGES- Exchanges are permitted if the student sends us a certified letter outlining the reasons for the exchange. We will respond in writing with a letter to the student within 30 days of the request. We do not address questions, nor give specific information over the phone to protect privacy rights of each registration as set forth by NY State law.

AFTER THE COURSE HAS BEGUN, there will be no refunds. If you drop out after the start of the program there will be no refund. We will not change this policy. We must keep this policy in effect in order to keep fees down for the entire student body.

Always make sure you are ready to take the course, BEFORE you sign up. THIS IS OUR PUBLISHED REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY AND IT IS AVAILABLE TO EACH STUDENT IN WRITTEN FORM, ON THE INTERNET and it is DESCRIBED IN OUR STUDENT POLICY GUIDELINES. This policy cannot be changed orally by any member of our staff.
